My first Weekend away from my Pepper

Hmm. Currently away on overseas duty in Penang for the Five Power Defence Arrangement (FPDA) Military Exercise together with Malaysia, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand from 7th to 25th Oct 2008. Staying in a nice hotel, relaxing mood thought have to work over weekend as well on sat an Sun without break. First weekend since we met not spending it with my dearest Pepper. Oh mine do I miss you my dear Pepper ZY. And be spending my 33rd Birthday next weekend away from my Pony. Muacks! From yours Ironman aka Bunny.

To Find A Wife

At the beginning of creation You proclaimed, "It is not good that man should be alone". You purposely designed me with a void only a wife can fill so in my divinely created emptiness, I ask You in the name of Jesus to release the wife You have specifically chosen for me.

My prayer before I met Zhenyuan on 17 May 08:

Because the covenant of marriage is sacred, I ask for a woman of God. A woman whose love for me is outmatched only by her love for You. A woman who will inspire me to draw closer to You. A woman who will build me up. A woman whom I can share my deep thoughts with. A woman whom I will be attracted to physically, emotionally, and spiritually. A woman I will love just as Christ loved the church.

I will not settle for a relationship that is second best, convenient, or one that feeds my insecurities. Guard my purity, and give me the patience to wait. And when I meet her, confirm to me that she is the one.

Free me from any hindrances to a healthy and godly marriage: insecurities, habitual sins, selfishness, emotional hurts, unrealistic expectations. Release from me the baggage of past relationships, and prepare me for the woman You have chosen to be my wife.

In this period of waiting, I will look to You to be my companion and best friend. You are the One who redeems my life from the pit, who crowns me with love and compassion, who satisfies my desires with good things. I will not be anxious, but as I present my requests to You, flood me with the peace that surpasses all understanding so my heart and my mind are guarded in Christ Jesus.

Our Wedding Band

Just collected our wedding bands today at Lee Hwa Lot 1. It is in rose gold. Mine is a simple design while Zhenyuan's one with additional 10 small diamonds on it. Got a good deal for it too. Mine after less at $711 ($988), while Zhenyuan at $822 ($1028), then redeem another $486 from the points i got from the rest of the jewelleries I have bought for the wedding earlier, thus paid only $336 for hers.

4th Month Anniversary

Today is 17th Sep 2008. Its Pepper and Ironman 4th month Anniversary since we met. Time really flies and wow how much have we developed our relationship. Will always remember our first meeting at Plaza Singapore just outside the Golden Village Cinema at noon. It started with a Hi! Nice to meet you and like the saying goes, the rest is up to us or the rest is history...well for us, i think it is just the beginning of a life long journey which both Zhenyuan and myself will travel together for as long as possible. GOD Blessed us both. Thank You GOD for bring us together.

STOKE CITY Vs EVERTON

Yes, Everton won their second game by beating Stoke City 3 goals to 2. Fielding No.17 Tim Cahill after a six months injury together with 2 new signings making their debut for Everton. And Cahill scored the winning goal. Yes, Everton, Blues all the way.....6 points after 4 games and at 11th position now...will climb up slowly but surely. Next Game, Standard Liege on 18 Sep 08. UEFA cup. :o)

Wedding Invitation Cards

Picked up ZY after her work at 5pm and went to Excelsior shopping centre where the printing company, tdragoncards.com is situated. Chose an Ivory colour card with the Chinese word "double happiness" on the front. The details within are printed in shiny gold wordings. Will be sending them the draft copy for the printer to follow on the wordings to be used.

1st Sep 2008 (01/09/08)

Today is RSAF 40th Anniversary, same as teachers' day. Today, both Zhenyuan and my family met each other for the first time at Meritus Mandarin, Pine Court Restaurant for our food tasting. Had a great 9 course dinner and both family really enjoyed ourselves and the companionship. Took a big family photo together too. Thank you GOD. GOD Bless both our families. :o)
