Booking of Wedding Dinner Venue

This afternoon, went down to meet the Catering manager with Zhenyuan to confirm on the venue for our wedding dinner. Place a $3000 deposit to book and confirm with the Meritus Mandarin. The Dinner will be held at the Mandarin Court on the 35th floor. It is currently going thru a major renovation to the place and will be completed by end Oct 08. So it will be very new when the wedding is held there. Nice. Unbelievable, saw the address of the hotel, 333 Orchard Road, that's the age I(33) will be as well as Zhenyuan(30) in 2008 this year. Perfect Venue man. Going for the food testing tomorrow evening at 730pm with my parents and in-laws at Pine Court Restuarant also situated on the 35th floor.

My Wedding Gift

My lovely Fiancee, Zhenyuan bought me a beautiful Seiko Premier Rose Gold watch. Very touched by her gesture and it was a big surprise when she presented me the gift about 2 weeks ago. It's the most expensive gift she ever bought in her life. Ha Ha. Lucky me. Love you so much my dear Pepper. Thank you. Muacks.

Ha Ha , Both Pepper and myself strike 4D yesterday 8781, my Car registration date (18/7/08), the founding date for Everton FC (1878) and it was yesterday date (17/8/08). Thank you GOD.

Ironman's Attire

After going church with my parents and Pepper, we went to Grand Plaza Park Hotel for lunch before we went shopping for my suit for the wedding. Bought a 3 piece Suit, normal price $996 at a great catch of only $249. Have already got my various colour Shirt and Ties to match Peppers attire for the photo shoot. Yes both are taking care of ourselves to look good for the photo shoot. WOW!

Hotel for Wedding Dinner

This morning went with Zhenyuan to Meritus Mandarin Hotel to meet up with the Catering Manager to discuss on the terms and conditions for the booking of the venue. The venue will be on the 35th floor which is a 3 tier stage ballroom concept which is very refreshing. On one side, we could have a clear view of the Singapore Flyers. Nice view for my guests. Oh my is the tables expensive nowadays. It will cost me $888++($1038) each for the 9 course dinner, come with free flow of beer and 1 a bottle of Red/White Wine per table. Thank you GOD for your blessing and smooth planning till date. Praise the Lord. :o)

Pepper's Wedding Gowns & Evening Gowns

Both Pepper and myself took half day leave and went to the bridal shop to select her gowns at about 1315hrs. After 3.5 hours of putting on and taking off the various selections, we finally selected the 7 attires. 3 wedding gowns, 2 for indoor photo shoot including 1 for actual day plus a third for outdoor shoot. For the evening gowns, 1 sexy red and gold for actual day plus photo shoot, 3 others for photo shoot, 1 gold, 1 blue and 1 grey/black. Booked our photo shoot date on 28th and 31st Oct after my return from overseas trip. On 26th, upon my return Ironman will fly over to accompany Pepper for the fitting (Packed schedule). Damn! Do my Pepper look really Hot inthe Red and Gold Evening Gown, drooling all over. Yum Yum! I Like.

Whoopee! What a way to celebrate Singapore's 43rd Birthday! Both Zhenyuan and myself went to search for a Bridal Shop for our photo shoot at Bridal Fair @ Suntec today and we signed up with French Studio & Bridal Boutique, the first and only studio we went to. Our package ($5888net - $7000 before less) consists of the following:

For my Bride-to-be:
1) 7 Different Outfits made up of 3 Wedding Gowns, 3 Evening Gowns & a Traditional Kua.
2) 7 Different Make-up & 10 various hair-do to match with the Gowns for both Studio & Outdoor shoots on 2 separate days with approximately 120 shots each day.
3) Bridal Make-up & Hair-do for actual day (Day & Night).

4) Actual day hand Bouquet 1 Piece and 8 Corsages, additional @$2.50 each.

Today, I took half day leave and went to Ang Mo Kio Pine Gardens Cake shop to collect my youngest sis-in-law Wanyuan's 21st Birthday which I bought for her as a gift, before bringing it down to Pasir Ris Chalet where she held her celebration. Went to my cousin's wedding dinner at Lion City Hotel that same evening before heading back to the chalet at 930pm again. Wanyuan is also born in the year of the rabbit, just like me, only I older than her by a full cycle, 12 years to be exact. ha ha.

Training Hard for my Wedding on 6 Dec 2008

Yesterday completed another long distance run of 12km in 1hr and 7mins. Will be running another 16km this Friday. Going to train hard to make sure I look sharp for my wedding photo shoot sometime in Oct/Nov 08.

Have already reserved the booking with Meritus Mandarin Hotel and Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel for my wedding Dinner on the 6th of Dec 08. Thank GOD for his blessing and his help for the booking of a Hotel in such a short moment notice.

Completed: Wedding Bands and Jewellery, Hotel, Bedroom Set, Arrangement for Military Wedding.

Things to do: ROM booking plus reception (3 months in advance only), Photo Shoot, etc...

Ironman & Pepper (Bedroom Set)

3rd Aug 08 went shopping with Zhenyuan and finally found a suitable and comfortable mattress and bedding as our new bedroom set for our wedding this 6th Dec 08. Went to Furniture Mall at beach road and finally bought the whole set at Cellini. Bought 9 items for $4289 after getting a big discount again from $8770. Promotion for National Day cum 7th Month. Ha Ha.

1st August 2008 (Joint Staff Run/Feng Shui Master)

Wow, what a run I had this morning, being the Department Life Officer(Sport and Fitness) for almost a year already, today ran for the longest distance for this year, clocked a 16km run. Shack, next Tuesday will be going for the 8km run followed by a 18km run on Friday. Training up for the AHM 21 KM. Plus keeping Fit.

At 715pm, Meet up with Master Eric together with my fiancee for selection of our ROM/Wedding dates. He advised me to hold the wedding together with the ROM on 6th Dec 2008 which was the date I initially selected. Wah that's like just four months away.....got to get busy.

Wedding Gifts for My Dearest Fiancee

Last Sat, 26th Jul 08 after distributing the 60 Packs of Nasi Lemak which my mum cooked for the Lions Club International for the old folks, together with Zhenyuan, her Mum, my mum and Mariya, we drove over to Pasir Panjang to buy some Vegetable before heading to Chua Chu Kang Lot 1.

Upon arrival at Lot 1, we headed for Lee Hwa Jewellery Shop where we had earlier reserved a set of Diamond Jewellery. Zhenyuan look so pretty and stunning after putting them on. Wah need to wear sunglass! Ha Ha Ha!

My Mum, Zhenyuan's Mum and her Late Grandma (using the $ saved when Zhenyuan strike 4D when her Grandma passed on a couple of years ago plus the $ she strike in Jun 08 while betting on the date I proposed to her which is 8th Jun 2008-8608) bought her the Necklace$1688($3288), Bracklet $888($2088) and Ear Rings $358($688) respectively and we got it at a very good price ($ is before discount).

Zhenyuan was so adorable and cute, she started tearing before crying when both mums bought it for her so easily without any second thought. Zhenyuan was very touch by their gesture. So Sweet, that's my wife to be. :o)

After that we all continued with some shopping before heading home to rest.

Racial Harmony Day Outing cum Makan on 23 Jul 08

Organised the department National Eduction, Racial Harmony Day outing to Peranakan Musuem. Before that we had an promotion lunch treat over at Grand Plaza Park Hotel at Cityhall. Another Successful event organised and conducted well. Thank you God!
